Terry Louise Fisher Three-time Emmy Winner & Co-Creator of “L.A. Law” & “Cagney & Lacey” Writer Dead at 79 – Entertainment News

Terry Louise Fisher, the co-creator of L.A. Law and a writer for Cagney & Lacey, died in her sleep on Tuesday 10 June. She was 79.

She co-created the legal drama “L.A. Law” with Steven Bocho. She won two shared Emmy Awards in 1987 for writing and producing the show. They also co-created “Hooperman” together starring John Ritter and Debrah Farentino.

Fisher wrote and produced “Cagney & Lacey” from 1982 to 1987 for which she also received an Emmy Award.

She created “2000 Malibu Road” in 1992, starring Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Beals.

Terry Louise Fisher was born on 21 February, 1946 in Chicago.
