Pacheco vs Sulecki: Live updates and results - 7:30 pm ET

Diego Pacheco faces Maciej Sulecki tonight on DAZN.

Diego Pacheco and Maciej Sulecki meet tonight in Carson, California for a super middleweight main event on a DAZN show that starts at 7:30 pm ET.

Pacheco (21-0, 17 KO) is a 23 year old that’s been speed running his developmental process against gatekeepers and prospect checkers. This is his 9th fight in 27 months, and he’s said in the buildup that he hopes his next fight comes against a bigger name, closer to the top of the 168 lbs. rankings.

Before that can happen, he’ll have to get through Sulecki (32-2, 12 KO), a rugged opponent that’s sort of an economy class Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Sulecki’s only losses came against Danny Jacobs and Demetrius Andrade, and he’s beaten several good, but not world class level guys like Gabe Rosado, Hugo Centeno, and Jack Culcay. Sulecki also recalls Derevyanchenko in that he’s more of a natural middleweight, though he hasn’t made the 160 lbs. limit in over five years.

In support, we’ll see the US debut of exciting super featherweight Eduardo Nunez (26-1, 26 KO), who actually picked up a 27th knockout win over Shavkat Rakhimov back in February, but did it on show run by the widely disgraced and corrupt (even by this sport’s low, low standards!) IBA, so the rest of the boxing world largely doesn’t count it.

Elsewhere on the undercard, we get Cheavon Clarke (9-0, 7 KO) vs Efetobor Apochi (12-2, 12 KO), plus Adelaida Ruiz (16-0-1, 8 KO) facing Ginny Fuchs (3-0, 1 KO) for an interim WBC super flyweight title.
