It appears as if Tyron Woodley has taken up Floyd Mayweather on his offer.

The former UFC welterweight champion’s next bout will take place inside the squared circle when he takes on undefeated YouTube star Jake Paul at a Showtime pay-per-view event on Aug. 28.

Prior to Mayweather’s exhibition bout against Logan Paul, the 50-0 boxer put out a public offer to train Woodley ahead of his professional boxing debut.

“Give me Tyron Woodley,” Mayweather said. “I’m gonna make sure I get in camp and I’m gonna train him for this fight. I want Tyron Woodley to come to Las Vegas and work with us.”

Woodley verbally accepted the offer hours later, and on Thursday, he posted a photo to his Instagram account confirming they are working together in preparation for his showdown with Paul.

“Bank robbery in progress. Y’all f*cked up! It’s stuck now,” Woodley posted.

In May 2018, Woodley had stated that he would be happy to train “Money” for his rumored transition into MMA that never materialized. It took three years and a crossover on the opposite end to get the two former champions in the gym together.

Woodley will enter a fight outside of the UFC’s octagon for the first time since 2012. Paul will look to build upon the momentum he’s established since he picked up consecutive knockout wins over former NBA guard Nate Robinson, and Woodley’s teammate Ben Askren.
