We are now just a week away from seeing Ring Magazine and WBA Light Flyweight "Super" champion Hiroto Kyoguchi (14-0, 9) [京口 紘人] make his US debut and defending his titles against Mexican challenger Axel Aragon Vega (14-3-1, 8). Ahead of that bout we are glad to report that the fighter has arrived is Dallas and is in good shape and condition.
The fighter arrived at Dallas Fort Worth yesterday afternoon, where he was greeted by staff from Matchroom and then taken to a Hotel. At the Hotel he was given time to do some gym work, shadow boxing for around 30 minutes.
At the hotel he's been able to enjoy authentic Japanese food thanks to the Dallas Japanese Association and is now around 3KG's (around 6.6lbs), above the Light Flyweight limit.
Despite travelling from Japan to the US the fighter is said to be suffer no jetlag, weight issues or stress, and seemed very relaxed in a short video released from the hotel.
