Max Holloway and Brian Ortega come face-to-face to promote their upcoming featherweight title bout at UFC 231.

Winter is coming.

Reigning featherweight champion Max Holloway is scheduled to defend his title against surging contender Brian Ortega on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

Holloway, who has been out of action for the past few months due to ‘concussion-like symptoms’, squared off with ‘T-City’ earlier this week to promote their upcoming title fight at UFC 231.

Check out the face-off below.

Speaking to MMA Junkie in a recent interview, fans will be relieved to hear that Holloway feels ‘great’ and appears to be fully recovered from whatever illness ruled him out of his originally scheduled bout with Ortega at UFC 226.

“I feel great. I can’t wait. The symptoms never, ever came back ever since. We’ve been getting after it in training, too, so I feel great,” Holloway told MMA Junkie about his recent health scare. I just can’t wait until December comes around, and I get to remind everybody who’s the undisputed champion.”

Holloway is a on a ten-fight win streak and is considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world. His opponent, Ortega, is the No. 1 ranked featherweight contender in the world and is on an impressive six-fight win streak of his own.

UFC 231: Holloway vs Ortega takes place on December 8 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
