UFC 227 final betting odds: Garbrandt now an underdog to Dillashaw

0

Check out the closing betting odds for tonight’s UFC 227 card, where Cody Garbrandt is now an underdog to bantamweight T.J. Dillashaw in the main event.

It’s fight day! But before you watch tonight’s UFC 227 card, take a gander at what the betting odds have to say. In our UFC 227 midweek betting odds post, the top of the billing had T.J. Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt at favored lines for their bantamweight title rematch. Since then, a bit of coin came flowing in for the current champ, which sent Garbrandt flying into underdog territory. Dillashaw is found at -125 and up while Garbrandt sits around +115. There may be a site or two that still has Garbrandt listed with a favored line.

In the co-main event, the defending champion Demetrious Johnson continues to be heavily favored over Henry Cejudo in their rematch. Johnson sits around the -450 mark with Cejudo clocking in at about +400, which shouldn’t be too shocking considering how short their initial meeting was. Also, “Mighty Mouse” hasn’t lost since his UFC on Versus 6 bout with Dominick Cruz in 2001, so you can’t really blame the odds makers for how wide the line is between the champ and the challenger.

Just ahead of the co-main event, the widest betting line of the UFC 227 belongs to Marlon Vera vs. Wuliji Buren. Vera can be found at a big ol’ line of -460, with Buren sitting as the card-high underdog at around +410. Aside from the main event, UFC 227 is in store for two other pick’em bouts. Matt Sayles clocks in anywhere from -120 up to +100 to Sheymon Moraes at -110, and Ricky Simon is found anywhere from -110 up to +110 to Montel Jackson at -120.

Tonight’s UFC 227 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. ET on FS1. The exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 7:00 P.M. ET.
