Mikey Garcia’s Media Workout

Garcia will be taking on Sergey Lipinets for his 140lb title this weekend.

As Mikey Garcia prepares to fight for a world title in his fourth weight class against IBF junior welterweight champion Sergey Lipinets this weekend, Fight Hub TV is able to capture some footage of his open media workout just a few days before the fight.

Garcia has said that he expects Lipinets to be a tough fight and that he, himself, is probably better suited to fight at 135lbs, but the apparently skill disparity between the fighters would make Garcia clear favorite to win this one.

Anyway, check out Garcia as he does some light shadowboxing and mitt work with his older brother and trainer, Robert Garcia. It’s nothing spectacular, but Garcia does appear to be in good shape and ready to roll on Saturday night on Showtime.

And as Garcia looks for some of the biggest fights out there, targeting a few divisions, there’s some really good potential fights to be made. But first he’ll have to take care of business on Saturday night.
