Tyron Woodley was able to fulfill a promise he made to his mom when he was a child for Christmas.

It’s not often that someone is able to deliver on a promise they made to their mother when they were ten years old. But that’s exactly what UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley was able to do for Christmas this year. In an Instagram post, he showed off a huge present for her - a new house.

“Told my mom at 10yrs Old I would buy her a house! This is a my most memorable Christmas I @mommawoodd cashes in on a 25yr old Promise! #GodIsAmazing #AlmostGotMe #Allergies

Woodley was obviously emotional detailing that he made the promise to her at 10 years old that he would be a professional athlete and he would purchase a house for her. He had his kids in his vehicle to check out their grandmother’s new place as well.

Woodley (18-3-1, 8-2-1 UFC) recently underwent shoulder surgery, and is planning to return to the Octagon a few months into 2018.
