Benavidez vs Gavril: Live streaming results and round by round coverage

David Benavidez meets Ronald Gavril for the WBC super middleweight title on Showtime.

Tonight at 10:05 pm ET, Showtime has a special Friday night triple-header from Las Vegas, capped off with a main event for the vacant WBC super middleweight title.

David Benavidez (18-0, 17 KO) takes on Ronald Gavril (18-1, 14 KO) in that main event, a fight that was originally supposed to pit Callum Smith against Anthony Dirrell, then Dirrell against Benavidez, and finally, we got this.

Benavidez is one of the more exciting young fighters in the sport, a 20-year-old slugger who brings the action. Gavril has won seven straight following a 2015 loss to veteran Elvin Ayala.

On the undercard, J’Leon Love (23-1, 13 KO) takes on Abraham Han (26-3, 16 KO), and Caleb Plant (15-0, 10 KO) meets Andrew Hernandez (19-6-1, 9 KO) in a pair of 10-round bouts, also in the super middleweight division.
