Curry’s college coach eager for Finals to start Thursday night’s NBA Finals opener brought Stephen Curry’s college coach across the country, to watch the most famous alum in Davidson basketball history. Bob McKillop, the head coach at Davidson (in North Carolina) for 28 years now, sees more than all those three-pointers raining from the sky. Curry burst onto the national scene at Davidson, mostly because of his long-range shooting. “He’s always fighting that baby-faced image, so he’ll do anything to disguise it,” McKillop said, chuckling.
