Kawhi Leonard will miss Spurs-Warriors Game 4 with ankle injury
Leonard injured his ankle in the second half of Game 1.
Kawhi Leonard will miss his third straight game in the Western Conference Finals according to Gregg Popovich. The Spurs head into Game 4 down 0-3 in the series and the news that Leonard will not play in Monday night’s game leaves little hope that the Spurs will avoid a sweep.

Leonard first hurt his ankle in the Spurs’ series against the Rockets and was forced to miss Game 6, a game the Spurs won to close out the series. Leonard played in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Warriors but went down in the second half after rolling his ankle not once, but twice in that game.
The second and controversial roll appeared to be too much for Leonard to handle and he was forced to leave the game. Injuries are never a good thing but this one is especially heartbreaking as Leonard went down with the Spurs up 23 in the third quarter. The Warriors went on to win that game and the next two as well.
The Spurs are also without Tony Parker and David Lee in this game. We’ll never know how great this series could have been.
