Wisconsin graduates ‘Jump Around’ in Camp Randall after earning their degrees
They came to get down/They came to get down.
The House Of Pain smash hit “Jump Around” is no stranger to Wisconsin’s Camp Randall Stadium. In a tradition that started back in 1998, during Badgers home games, the anthem blares through the speakers after the third quarter and students rock the stands by jumping up and down.
During their last time in the stadium as students, the Wisconsin class of 2017 got to jump one last time.

Wisconsin’s graduation ceremony was moved to Camp Randall in 2014 after 25 years indoors in the Kohl Center. There were some folks less than pleased with the move, but Wisconsin’s administration planned “Jump Around” as a bit of a favor to upset students.
Officials had planned to play the song at graduation for months but kept it quiet to make it a surprise, spokesman John Lucas said. An online petition started late Wednesday by Moroni, which gathered more than 1,000 signatures in its first 24 hours, propelled the matter and led to the announcement.
Last year in a commencement address given by Russell Wilson, the former QB said he was excited to continue the tradition. It seems “Jump Around” at graduation remains alive and well.
