Kyle Lowry won’t play in Game 4 vs. Cavaliers

0

The Cavs are one game away from sweeping the Raptors.

Kyle Lowry is not likely to play in Game 4 of the Toronto Raptors’ playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday afternoon, due to a sprained ankle that also kept him sidelined for Game 3.

"I don't think he's going to go," coach Dwane Casey said before the game, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

Lowry didn’t sound too optimistic about his chances, either.

"I'm probably doubtful, honestly," Lowry said. "I don't think I'll be able to play. ... It's not looking great, but I'm not giving up on it."

Toronto is looking to avoid a four-game sweep at the hands of LeBron James and company, but their chances are slim if their starting point guard isn’t on the floor.

Cory Joseph started in Lowry’s absence in Game 3, and finished with just four points and six assists on a poor 2-of-12 shooting. He’ll have to step up if Lowry can’t give it a go.
