Raptors Injury News: Brandon Ingram listed as Doubtful ahead of Game 7
Toronto’s leading scorer in the regular season was listed as doubtful yet again on gameday, and he was also spotted still wearing his walking boot.
It’s terrible news for Toronto as they would’ve hoped for him to ditch the walking boot already if he were to play, and things aren’t looking good, but he still has a chance since he hasn’t been ruled out just yet.
Ingram suffered the right heel inflammation that kept him out for game six during game five’s loss on the road in Cleveland, as he was only able to register 11 minutes, adding just one point, one rebound and two assists along with a block. He’s had a rough series, averaging just 12 points, 2.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds while shooting a rough 32.8 percent from the field and 73.9 percent from the free throw line.
His numbers have clearly dropped, but Toronto wouldn’t be in the playoffs to begin with if it wasn’t for Ingram’s 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists on 47.7 percent shooting from the field and 38.2 percent shooting beyond the arc across 77 regular-season games as the Duke product earned his second All-Star berth in his first legitimate season with the Raptors.
Immanuel Quickley is also out for tonight with his right hamstring strain and has missed the whole series. Cleveland’s injury list continues to remain clean as they’ve had the advantage in the health department all series long.
