Kentucky lands James Madison transfer Justin McBride
By ADAM ZAGORIA
After missing out on five-star forward Tyran Stokes on Tuesday, Kentucky pivoted quickly by adding James Madison transfer forward Justin McBride.
The 6-foot-7 native of Plano, TX averaged 15.3 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 49% from the field and 40% from deep.
He joins Furman transfer guard Alex Wilkins and Washington transfer guard Zoom Diallo in Mark Pope’s transfer portal class.
Kentucky also has four-star point guard Mason Williams coming in.
