North Carolina’s star big man is heading to the 2026 NBA Draft.
Tar Heels big man Henri Veesaar has thrown his name into the ring to hear his name called on June 23 or June 24 during the 2026 NBA Draft, per CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander.
The 7-foot big man averaged 17.0 points and 8.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game as a junior for UNC.
As a big man with modern skills, Veesaar boasts the impressive ability to shoot from long distance at a high level. He shot 42.6% from three in his last season for UNC.
A big man with size and efficient floor spacing ability is as enticing of a prospect as you can have for modern NBA teams and he is sure to draw interests from multiple teams.
Veesaar is currently projected to go in the second round, according to Tankathon and could be a steal for any given franchise.
