UNLV transfer Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn commits to Texas Tech

Texas Tech has secured another high-level scorer to their recruiting class for the 2026-27 season.
UNLV transfer Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn will play for the Raiders next season, per On3.
The 6-foot-1 guard was ranked in the top-30 in scoring across the country last season, averaging 20.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in his junior year for UNLV.
He will join Texas Tech in his senior year under head coach Grant McCasland alongside Hofstra guard Cruz Davis to form a highly talented backcourt.
Davis, like Lawhorn, was a top-30 scorer in college basketball last season.
