Syracuse transfer Tyler Betsey signs with BYU

BYU has officially secured a sharpshooter for the 2026-27 season.
Syracuse transfer Tyler Betsey has signed with BYU, the school announced on Tuesday.
Betsey averaged 6.7 points per game on 40% shooting from long-distance for the Orange in his sophomore season.
He will now join a program who continues to stockpile talent out of high-school, with a recruiting class in 2026 highlighted by five-star prospect Bruce Branch III.
Betsey will play under head coach Kevin Young in the Big 12 alongside transfers Collin Chandler and Jake Wahlin.
