Oklahoma State transfer Jaylen Curry commits to Virginia Tech

Mike Young and Virginia Tech have landed another high-major transfer.
Oklahoma State transfer guard Jaylen Curry is headed to play for the Hokies, per reports. CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein first reported the commitment.
Curry, in his only season at Oklahoma State, averaged 10.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game for the Cowboys this season.
Prior to his junior season at Oklahoma State, Curry spent two seasons playing for Frank Martin at UMass, where he appeared in 60 games for the Minutemen.
Notably, during his sophomore season at UMass, Curry averaged a career-high 13.3 points and 3.9 assists per game in 29 starts for the team.
He’s the Hokies’ fourth pickup of the offseason, joining Florida Atlantic transfer Isaiah Elohim, San Diego State transfer Miles Heide and Oklahoma transfer Kuol Atak.
