St. Joe’s lands 6-foot-9 D-2 star Donovan Flamer

St. Joe’s on Saturday landed a pledge from 6-foot-9 Division 2 star Donovan Flamer, per his NIL agent Dwayne Wise.
Flamer averaged 10.2 points and 5.5 rebound and blocked 60 shots with 11 steals at Elizabeth City State (N.C.) en route to being named the 2026 CIAA Rookie of the Year.
The Owings Mill, MD native attended Mount Zion Prep (MD).
Associate head coach Bino Ranson was the lead recruiter. His son, 6-3 Class of 2026 point guard BJ Ranson, also committed to the A-10 school, which finished 24-12, 13-5 in the A-10.
Seven players transferred out after the season.
