BY ALEJANDRO LOPEZ
Another key guard is returning to Michigan next season.
Michigan guard Trey McKenney will return to the Wolverines next season, per ESPN.
McKenney is the second guard to announce their return to Michigan next season after Elliot Cadeau signed a contract to do the same.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 9.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game for the national champion Wolverines.
Michigan’s championship roster was built almost entirely from the transfer portal but the champions will enter next season with continuity in their backcourt.
