Indianapolis Colts sign Notre Dame basketball forward Carson Towt

The Indianapolis Colts are signing a Notre Dame athlete, but not from their football team.

Notre Dame basketball forward Carson Towt is joining the Colts with the intention of becoming a tight end for the team, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 5.9 points and 9.0 rebounds for the Fighting Irish.

Towt led the country in rebounds per game during the 2024-25 season. Now he will look to make a transition to the football field.
