Four-star class of 2026 prospect Davion Adkins sets announcement date

Davion Adkins, the four-star Class of 2026 center from Prolific Prep (FL), will announce his college choice on Sunday, he told ZAGSBLOG.
The 6-foot-9, 216-pound Adkins is down to Houston, Kansas and Rutgers and will announce at halftime of the Dynamic Prep-Notre Dame game (9 p.m. Sunday, ESPN).
The No. 3-ranked center in the Class of 2026, Adkins visited all three schools, most recently hitting Kansas this weekend.
Newly-minted Kansas commit Tay Kinney said he’s recruiting both Adkins and Tyran Stokes.
“I’m a dog,” Adkins told ZAGSBLOG earlier this year. “I’m not going to give up. I play through everything, play through every hit, every contact, every little hit, every little bit of adversity and just keep playing.”
As for what he is looking for from programs, Adkins said:
“I just want the development, what’s going on there. The nutrition plans and how they handle players’ mental health.”
