Brotherhood Draft Watch: Magic Johnson’s Opinion On Cooper Flagg
Pretty interesting stuff here
As you probably know, while Cooper Flagg is going to the first pick in this year’s NBA Draft and has been celebrated since high school, opinions on his potential have been surprisingly varied.
Some people really think he’s overrated and others think he’s going to be great.
As an aside, most of the people who aren’t overly impressed seem to be journalists and a lot of those who are impressed seem to be guys with NBA experience. Make of that what you will.
And one of the most impressive voices in the latter camp is none other than the legendary Earvin “Magic” Johnson. Here’s what he told Stephen A. Smith about Flagg:“Listen. I’m gonna tell you something. If that boy, Cooper Flagg, is who we think he is — and I think he’s going to be a better pro than he was in college — if you put him and Klay Thompson and those two centers they have, and Jason Kidd has them running, and Kyrie’s at his best and healthy? Watch out, West. Watch out.”
Greatness seeing greatness?
Works for us.
