It’s always fun to boost a Blue Devil

The other day we told you about former Blue Devil Nick Horvath’s second career: as a writer.

Horvath has written a book called Sledge vs. The Labyrinth. Here’s one of the blurbs by EC Greaves: As gritty as Sledge is, it’s the dark humor that’s just outstanding. It’s so gnarly and brutal, but then the dark humor just cuts through. You wouldn’t expect such sharp wit from a book literally called SLEDGE. Think Reacher. But meaner and leaner. With a whole lot less moralizing and a whole lot more fun! This is the EXACT sort of thing that should be made into a movie or series.”

We also suggested that Duke fans who were so inclined buy or download his book so that we could push him up the Amazon charts. Well: mission accomplished!

Here are the stats before we published the story:

As of Wednesday, Horvath’s book is rated #412,981 in Kindle Store, #1,298 in Suspense Action Fiction, #1,356 in Crime Action & Adventure and #2,539 in Mystery Action Fiction.

And as of Friday:

#211,687 in Kindle Store,#810 in Suspense Action Fiction, #860 in Crime Action & Adventure and #1,560 in Mystery Action Fiction (Kindle Store).

Not too bad!

If you haven’t downloaded, please consider doing so.
