Coaches confirmed for Hoopsfix All-Star Classic 2025
The head coaches for the 2025 edition of the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic have now been confirmed.
Lauren Milligan and Siobhan Prior will take the reins for the Under-19 Women’s game, while Billy Beddow-Patel and Rikki Broadmore lead the teams in the Under-19 Men’s game.
Prior and Milligan played against each other for many years in the WBBL at Nottingham and Oaklands respectively, and have transitioned onto the sidelines at academy and national league level with Nottingham and Barking Abbey, as well as with GB.
Team White will be led by Prior, who will also serve as the GB Under-16s assistant coach this summer to help shape the future of international youth success having also represented her country at senior level, whilst being part of the England team that won silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Meanwhile, Milligan leads Team Black having been part of the BA girls programme since making the move from Oaklands in 2022. She was also part of the London Lions as an assistant coach in the WBBL last season, and was part of two promotion winning GB youth teams, before playing at NCAA D2 level on a full scholarship.
BA are also represented with the inclusion of Broadmore to lead Team White at the Classic off the back of a successful year in the EABL. He was named Coach of the Year, having stepped up from assistant coach, before his side went on to claim another Championship title. Four of those players will be suiting up also.
Beddow will be in opposition to take charge of Team Black after leading the Milton Keynes Breakers to much success since their launch in 2022. He has guided the team to successive promotions from Division 3 to Division 1, while also becoming the first non-Division 1 team since 1973 to win the NBL National Cup and being GB Under-16s assistant last summer.
The four head coaches were also able to each select an assistant, with Milligan taking Shequila Joseph, Prior selecting Nichola Rose, Broadmore assisted by Jack O’Keefe and Beddow-Patel by Kai Williams.
