Duke Recruiting: Braydon Hawthorne Announces Tuesday
And he’s playing it very close to the vest.
Braydon Hawthorne, who originally committed to West Virginia before Darian DeVries took the Indiana job, decided to look again and is now set to announce his decision on Tuesday.
His finalists are Duke, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Pitt and West Virginia.
NIL changes things of course, but no one wants to sit and Kentucky’s roster may be too full.
At Virginia Tech, former Mountaineer assistant Chester Frazier is now employed. Frazier recruited him to Morgantown and that could be a factor.
Don’t get too cocky yet - he posted on X that he hasn’t even told his parents what his decision is. We’ll know Tuesday night.
