London Stars complete double with U16 national title
National Cup winners London Stars added the Playoff title to their 2024/25 haul with a commanding 82-65 performance against capital city rivals Elite.
They become the first London team to complete the Cup and Playoff double, and just the third London team to do it at junior level joining Ealing Tornadoes (2001) and Peckham Pride (2016) who did it at under-18 level.

“Awesome (to win Cup and Playoffs),” London Stars Head Coach Kelvin Facey said.
“We’re possibly the first London team to do that, i’m privileged to be among those who have done it before, so hard work and it pays off. Great job to both clubs and everyone else.
“We did everything this year that we talked about, from the cup to the final four, it’s just positive vibes and we’ve got it.
MVP Oskaras Visockas led the winners with an 24-point, 15-rebound, seven assist showing as Stars took a one-point advantage into the second half but stretched significantly it as the game progressed.
Visockas was backed by 13 points from Domas Martinkus while Leo Bowman had a 13-point, 13-rebound double double for Elite and Kaya Birsen grabbed 14.
