St. Joe’s has landed St. John’s transfer guard Jaiden Glover.
The 6-foot-4 Brooklyn, NY native averaged 2.2 points in 22 games before getting injured for Rick Pitino’s team this past season. He went for a career-high 11 points, with 3 assists and 2 rebounds in a Nov. 30 win over Harvard.

If fully healthy as a sophomore, he should provide a boost to coach Billy Lange’s club along with fellow incoming transfer guard Deuce Jones (La Salle) and transfer forward Al Amadou (Marquette).
“We are big believers in size and shooting ability with backcourt players,” said Pitino when Glover signed with St. John’s. “Jaiden is an outstanding perimeter shooter and a terrific athlete with excellent size.”
Glover was one of several outgoing transfers at St. John’s this year, along with big man Vince Iwuchukwu, center Khaman Maker (DePaul) and shooting guard Brady Dunlap (Saint Louis).
In 2023, Glover, who finished his high school career under coach Chris Chavannes at The Patrick School in Hillside, NJ, was invited to the Pangos All-American and earned a spot in the “Top 60” Cream of the Crop Game. He also attended the National Basketball Players Association Top 100 Camp and finished top-10 in scoring with 14.5 points per game at the midway point.
On the AAU Circuit, Glover played for the New York Jayhawks. In 2023, Glover earned MVP Honors at the Empire Invitational after scoring 22 points in the championship game.
