The Golden State Warriors will attempt to bounce back from their tough loss last night with Tuesday’s home matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. The game will be played at 7:00PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State’s seven-game win streak came to an abrupt end Monday night, falling 114-105 to a shorthanded Denver Nuggets squad missing Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray.
Despite the favorable matchup on paper, the Warriors found themselves in a hole early, trailing 62-50 at halftime while struggling from deep (4-of-19) and the free throw line (4-of-12).
The second half wasn’t much better. Costly unforced turnovers kept Golden State from closing the gap, as they coughed up the ball 20 times and were out-rebounded 52-38 in one of their sloppiest outings of the season.
Kerr: “It’s hard to win an NBA game when you throw the ball to the other team 10 times. … We played poorly out of the gate and never found rhythm. They played great. The right team won. We didn’t deserve that. We were awful.”

What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors now shift their focus to a tough home back-to-back against the Bucks. However, they could be without Stephen Curry, as head coach Steve Kerr emphasized the importance of getting him some rest.
STEVE KERR: "Steph's been carrying us for a month. He's been amazing. He's tired... you can see it. He doesn't have his energy right now... he's exhausted right now... We absolutely have to consider giving him a night [off]." pic.twitter.com/4yDGywFTav

Taking on the Bucks without Curry—and potentially other veterans—won’t be easy. Milwaukee, currently tied for the fourth seed in the East, is led by the dominant duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo (30.4 PPG, second in the NBA) and Damian Lillard (25.1 PPG, 11th in the NBA).
With Golden State locked in a tight battle to maintain the sixth seed in the West, every game is crucial. Because of this, expect them to play with more urgency and energy than they showed on Monday, regardless of who is in the lineup.
