5 Mike Woodson replacements for Indiana men's basketball, including Dusty May

0 24

Indiana men’s basketball coach Mike Woodson will be stepping down at the end of the season, the school announced on Friday.

After joining the program in 2021, Woodson has made the men’s NCAA tournament twice with Indiana but has never reached beyond the Round of 32. The Hoosiers might benefit from a fresh perspective, which they will get now that Woodson is planning on leaving his post at the end of the year.

As we look at five candidates that make sense to replace Woodson in Bloomington, you’ll notice a few of these candidates have ties to the state.

Two of them are just marquee names that most teams would love to talk to once they have a coaching opening. Let’s run through who they are and why they make sense.
