Former Blue Devil Tre Jones Traded To Chicago Bulls
Better red than light blue
The old joke in pro sports is: rent, don’t buy, because chances are good you’ll either get fired or traded and it just makes life easier if you rent.
Former Blue Devil Tre Jones may be thinking about that now as he is part of a three-team trade between the Sacramento Kings, the Chicago Bulls and the San Antonio Spurs. The trade will see him joining the Bulls.
His competition at point guard there will include Lonzo Ball and Ayo Dosunmu. His defense and hard-nosed play should help him carve out a role.
It’s not as interesting as the Luka Doncic/AD trade, but it’s pretty interesting. Among other things, San Antonio will be able to pair D’Andre Fox with Victor Wembanyama.
