Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State suffered another tough loss Wednesday night after losing to the Sacramento Kings, 123-117. The Warriors were up by as much as 18 points in this one, but quickly saw their lead fade away in the third quarter thanks to Kings guard DeMar DeRozan. The six-time All-Star single-handedly took over the game, scoring 19 of his game-high 32 points in the third quarter to bring the Kings back just in time for the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, Stephen Curry faced aggressive double teams throughout the night, forcing other players on the Warriors to step up. Andrew Wiggins came through with a team-high 25 points, including 5-of-11 from the three-point line as the two teams traded baskets until the end of regulation. Ultimately, it was Golden State who could not overcome their litany of mental errors which included 19 turnovers to Sacramento’s nine on the night.

What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors will once again aim to even their record as they host the Bulls on Thursday night. With a record of 19-25, the Bulls currently sit in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings, and prior to their win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, they were losers in five straight games.
Chicago is led by former All-Star guard Zach LaVine. He’s the team’s leading scorer, averaging 24.0 points per game on 51.4% shooting from the field and 45% shooting from the three-point line.

Right behind him for the Bulls is center Nikola Vucevic. The big man is averaging 20.3 points per game while leading the team with 10.4 rebounds. He’s shooting 41.1% from deep and his performance this season has him linked to Golden State as a potential trade target.
As the NBA Trade Deadline approaches, the Warriors continue to search for a reliable stretch big to add some scoring punch to their front court. With the Bulls in town, Vucevic’s performance tonight could provide a glimpse of how he might fit within their system.
