Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell probable, Jaxson Hayes questionable vs. Grizzlies
The Lakers will head into a rematch with the Grizzlies mostly healthy with Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell likely to play.
After a scare on Sunday, Anthony Davis appears all set to go for the Lakers against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
AD exited the Raptors game after being poked in the eye and did not return. On Tuesday, Davis said he was set to play against Memphis and the injury report doesn’t even list his eye injury but, instead, his plantar fasciitis.

AD spoke to the media at practice about his injury and said he is all set. He also remained pretty adamant he wasn’t going to wear goggles.
D’Angelo Russell is a notable inclusion on the injury report. He did not take part in practice on Tuesday due to the illness.

Jaxson Hayes’ inclusion in the injury report is not new. He was, however, listed as probable before the team’s game against the Raptors, so there is a minor change in his status. However, each time he’s been listed with the ankle sprain, so that part remained the same.
The Lakers also got bad injury news on Christian Wood on Tuesday. Head coach JJ Redick revealed that Wood had a setback during his rehab process and would be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Jalen Hood-Schifino is also a new addition to the injury report. He did play in the South Bay’s opening game of the G League, but suffered his injury during that game.

It’s the latest in a slew of injuries for JHS, who can’t seem to stay healthy for an extended time.
