Brotherhood Podcast #43 - Chris Carrawell!
The one and only
It’s very possible that our favorite Duke player of all time is Chris Carrawell. First of all, he was sort of Mr. Fixit. Need to guard a center? No problem. Point guard? I got it. Whatever they needed, C-well would do it. He’s the ultimate teammate.
Second, he has an incredible spirit. He came from a tough neighborhood in St. Louis and immediately felt at home at Duke. A lot of what makes him special comes from his mother. She raised (if memory serves) four children, kept them all out of trouble and three of them went to college with the fourth choosing a military career. She forged a lot of what made her son so special.
But not all of it.
Part of it is pure Chris. He’s irrepressibly good natured and open to the world. Of all the Brotherhood Podcasts we’ve passed on, none are likely to be more fun, more interesting and more engaging than Caleb Foster talking to Chris Carrawell. He’s just a blast. And not for nothing, we’re pretty sure that personality translates very well into recruiting.
