NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — Four-star guard Courtland Muldrew has set three official visits, he told ZAGSBLOG. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound guard from Oak Hill Academy and the Team Thad Nike EYBL AAU program, will travel to Mississippi State (Sept. 14), Ole Miss (Sept. 27) and LSU (Oct. 12).

Last time ZAGSBLOG chatted with Muldrew, it was Oklahoma, Washington, Texas, Colorado, Ole Miss, Missouri and SMU most in contact. Now, West Virginia, Mississippi State, Creighton, LSU and Arkansas have entered the mix.

Muldrew broke down each of those programs:

WVU: “Just the program is pretty good. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them. So just keeping my eye on them.” Assistant coach Chester Frazier most in contact.

Creighton: “Their offense is crazy. They offered me a couple weeks ago, have been in touch a lot.” Assistants Derek Kellogg and Ryan Miller text him often.

Mississippi State: “Coach [David] Anwar, coach [Chris] Jans, they’ve been on my heavy. Like really really heavy, calling me everyday. I like the way they play with their guards. No matter how big or small you are, they like their guards.”

LSU: “They’ve been in touch a lot as well. The coaching staff came from Murray State, so they had Ja Morant. So I can be that type of player for them.” Head coach Ryan McMahon and associate head coach David Patrick most in contact.

Arkansas: Chuck Martin. He’s saying I’m a priority for them, so that’s good. That’s a good thing to hear. Historic program. Especially with coach [John] Calipari coming in, what he’s done with guards, it’s really amazing.”

In addition to Mississippi State, Ole Miss and LSU, Vanderbilt also wants to get Muldrew down for a visit.

“They just came off a losing season,” Muldrew said of Vanderbilt. “They have a new coaching staff coming in. So just watching them and seeing what they can do this year.

Muldrew has no timelines right now for making any sort of top list or making a final college decision.

Recently, the guard transferred from Har-Ber High School in Arkansas to Oak Hill Academy. Muldrew is looking forward to being part of the historic program.

“Really it’s just keeping on competing at a high level,” Muldrew said of the transfer. “Being one of the top players in the EYBL this year has just motivated me, so me and my dad thought it was a good decision, business decision to go to Oak Hill.  I just want to be myself and just also look up to the legends that have came through there. See what they did and see how I can be like that.”

Muldrew is ranked the No. 100 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports.
