More on this storyline

Jared Weiss: Brad Stevens wouldn’t speak directly about trying to re-sign Xavier Tillman and Luke Kornet, but he said, “There is no doubt we’ll really value continuity in that.” -via Twitter @JaredWeissNBA / June 27, 2024
ClutchPoints: Reporter: “There’s nothing like Boston. Now that you’ve experienced the parade what’s it like?” Xavier Tillman: “That is like [the] top 5 best experiences in my life.” Reporter: “How badly do you want to repeat?” Xavier: “Very badly.” (via @RochieWBZ) pic.twitter.com/DxlVePZJpq -via Twitter @ClutchPointsApp / June 21, 2024
All of Boston’s rotation players are signed for next season, with the only free agents being reserve centers Luke Kornet, Xavier Tillman Sr. and Neemias Queta and little-used guard Svi Mykhailiuk. Reserve forward Oshae Brissett has a player option on his minimum deal. Boston also will have a chance to add an inexpensive piece with the 30th pick in the NBA Draft. I’m told the Celtics would like to bring the centers back if the money is reasonable; regardless, Boston can easily replenish the back end of the roster with other minimum deals this offseason. -via New York Times / June 20, 2024
