To recall, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s desire to live a more peaceful life away from the limelight is one of the many reasons why they decided to ditch the royal life for good. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also wanted to work to become financially independent from the royal family.

Prince George acted like a caring brother to Prince Louis in their most recent public sighting. One expert said the two siblings were reminiscent of Prince William and Prince Harry.

Prince George Acted Like Dad Prince William Toward Younger Brother Prince Louis, Expert Claims

Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest son made his Christmas service debut Sunday when he joined the royal family's walkabout. Body language expert Judi James noticed how Prince George and Prince Louis shared a bond before entering the church.

"With the newly re-formed royal pack arriving in force for their Christmas church service, it was one subtle but powerful gesture from George that created a poignant but also hopeful emotional moment," she The Sun's Fabulous.

"Harry's Netflix show included footage and photos of himself and older brother William when they were children and it was clear from the poses how much William looked after and protected his younger sibling," she continued. "With that relationship in tatters, this current Christmas appearance by four-year-old Louis showed a very mirrored moment between these new royal brothers."

She noted how when the handshakes were over, and the Waleses went to walk into the church, Prince George instinctively bent his head to his younger brother to speak to him. He also placed a hand on his back, which according to James, was a "gesture of reassurance and guidance."

"It is a gesture William and Kate have always used on their children and they were using it again today," she continued.

"But it was George taking over the caring role here and the sight of the older brother looking out for the younger, more boisterous one was like a flashback to the days when it was William looking after Harry."

She added that Prince William has always learned lessons from the past and probably encouraged his sons to build stronger and more resilient relationships.

Prince George Is More Confident, Expert Says

Aside from acting like a real big brother, the 9-year-old royal is visibly more confident, according to James. She noted how the Prince and Princess of Wales' eldest child carried himself during his recent public outings.

"George showed his growing confidence on public appearances by quietly prepping for the more formal moments," James added.

"Walking with his arms at his sides he waited as his father shook hands with the clergyman but with his arms now hanging slightly behind his torso, we could see him flexing his fingers in a really professional way as he prepped for his own handshake."

Prince George also wore a navy blue suit similar to his dad's outfit.

In related news, royal commentator Neil Sean claimed that Prince George is already working on being independent. Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' older brother reportedly wanted to learn martial arts because "he likes the idea of looking after himself."

Middleton was reportedly a bit worried. However, Prince William was supportive of what their son wanted.

"His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales thinks this will be good character building, good for him to have that, sort of, independence," Sean added.

Prince Louis’ Hilarious Antics During Trooping The Colour RevisitedDuring the outing, Prince Louis was spotted putting his thumb in his mouth. And on more than one occasion, he also hilariously placed his hands in his mouth to make funny faces.

Even though the appearance was brief, Middleton had to call Prince Louis’s attention on multiple occasions. Even the queen helped Middleton by asking Prince Louis to focus on the color display in front of them.

But Prince Louis being the young and funny boy couldn’t stay put. In fact, when the sounds of the helicopter and the jets became too unbearable for him, he placed his hands to cover his ears.

His older siblings, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte seemed a bit more relaxed during their recent appearance. But royal fans would remember that when Princess Charlotte was much younger, she also stole the show at the Trooping the Colour.

While watching the display, a much younger Princess Charlotte slipped from the stool that she was standing on and cried. Middleton immediately came to her rescue and consoled her.

Prince Louis And Prince Harry Share The Same Habit As Children

Meanwhile, this wasn’t the first time that the public saw Prince Louis sucking his thumb. In fact, in 2019 he also made headlines for doing the exact same gesture. And during that time, Middleton also tried to remove his hand from his mouth.

By the looks of it, Prince William and Middleton’s youngest child inherited the habit from his uncle Prince Harry. When the latter was much younger, he was oftentimes photographed with his thumb in his mouth.

And on multiple instances, Princess Diana also tried to remove Prince Harry’s thumb from his mouth.

The Duke of Sussex also has a famous childhood photo taken in 1986 when he was just 2 years old. At the time, he and his family were in Majorca for a royal tour and he was photographed sucking his thumb.

According to Hello! magazine, the Princess of Wales tried to dissuade Prince Harry from sucking his thumb, but he refused to listen.

During the same outing, Prince Harry was once again photographed sucking his thumb while sitting on the stairs outside Juan Carlos’ summer mansion.

In other news, body language Judi James told Mirror UK that Prince Louis’s antics rubbed off on the queen, who was photographed smiling during the whole outing.

"William and Kate emerged wearing their serious facial expressions, with William directing their children into position before standing apart from Kate to ensure a good spread of parental guidance. As the fly-past evolved though, we were treated to the strength of the bonds between the Queen and little Louis. His body language was the most spontaneous and at one point he even moved in front of the Queen," she said.

James also talked about the body language between Prince Charles and the queen, as well as the monarch’s interactions with the other members of the royal family

"Leaning over the balcony, looking a lot like Prince Charles did at his mother’s coronation, his body language signals veered between an impatient slapping of his hands on the balcony to some face-rubbing and head-holding that suggested he couldn’t wait to see the planes. The Queen looked over at him with an indulgent facial expression though, chatting to her great-grandson as well as Kate. By the time the Lancaster flew over it looked as though Louis’s excitement had brought out some childlike excitement in the Queen, too. She clearly loved the roar of the engines and as Louis literally jumped up and down at the sight of the Red Arrows, the Queen smiled and chatted as though sharing the moment," she said.

Prince Charles used to be close to his younger son Prince Harry. However, the tide turned, and the Prince of Wales is currently in his best relationship with his older son, Prince William.

Prince Charles And Prince William Used To Have A Tense Relationship

Tina Brown weighed in on Prince Charles' relationship with his sons with late wife, Princess Diana — Prince William, and Prince Harry. Brown spoke to Page Six when she promoted her new book The Palace Papers.According to Brown, the Prince of Wales was competing with his eldest son. Both are the future king of England. However, the Duke of Cambridge is more popular.

Prince Charles has prepared all his life to be the next king after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. However, his reputation suffered due to his alleged affair with Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles while still married to Princess Diana. So, some British wants to skip him and make Prince William the next king.

"There has been tension between William and Charles because the fact is Charles feels competitive with William," Brown told Page Six about the father and son.

Prince Harry's Departure Brought Prince Charles Closer To His Older Brother Prince William

Between his two sons, Brown said, Prince Charles was closer to his younger child. However, when Prince Harry decided to leave the U.K. and move to the U.S. with his wife, Meghan Markle, his absence brought his father and brother closer.

"Harry going has made them inevitably closer, which is ironic because Charles was much closer to Harry. They had a very warm relationship," Brown explained. "It’s very upsetting to Charles apparently. He’s been distraught about the fraying of the relationship. He’s been very, very sad. He’s been very hurt by Harry."

Prince Harry had said several hurtful things about his father in his previous interviews. He told Oprah Winfrey that his father stopped picking up his calls and cut them off financially after he left his home country. He also thanked his mom, Princess Diana, for the trust and money he inherited from her because it supported them when they moved to California.
