Bronny James has interests from multiple teams but appears to be working out with just the Lakers and Suns, for now, ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft.

Bronny James has been associated with the Lakers since he became a prominent basketball player at Sierra Canyon High School.

His father, LeBron James, is obviously what sparked curiosity, but it's his play and potential that has kept him in the limelight. He played at USC for one year and declared for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Bronny has participated in the NBA Draft Combine and Klutch Sports Pro Day at the Lakers practice facility and will now begin doing individual workouts privately with teams.

According to Shams Charania, who appeared on FanDuel TV on Tuesday, Bronny will work out for the Lakers and the Sun but has declined to work out with other teams.

A team can always draft Bronny regardless of a workout, but it certainly looks like the Suns and Lakers are the frontrunners when it comes to drafting him.

This news, along with his agent Rich Paul's statement that Bronny James will not sign a two-way contract, signals that he is being very selective about his potential NBA home. The Lakers can draft Bronny in the first round if the Pelicans decide to take the 2025 first rounder instead of the 2024 pick which they are expected to do.

If Los Angeles does keep the No. 17 pick, Bronny will most likely be available, but no projections value him as a top-17 selection.

They also have the No. 55 pick and can hope Bronny falls to them, but the Suns can draft him late in the first round with the No. 22 pick, so they would be running a risk there.

Bronny averaged just 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists at USC but missed a lot of time at the beginning of the year due to the cardiac arrest he suffered last summer. So, the hope is that he can perform better in the right environment in the NBA.

He seems healthy and ready to play professional basketball and after his private workouts, the Lakers will be in prime position to draft Bronny if that's the route they want to take.
