Duke Recruiting: A Possible 5-Star Summer Visit?
This is an intriguing recruit
Five-star forward Dwayne Aristode (2025) is planning his visits and he is considering Duke, among other schools, according to Zagsblog.
He’s also looking at UConn, UCLA, Wake Forest, Virginia and Arizona. A native of Holland, Aristode is playing for Brewster Academy currently.
One of his big assets is that he works hard on defense: “I take pride in being able to defend. I want to play the two or three later in the future, but to be able to be that position, you also have to also guard that position. So I take pride in defense all around. Team overall defense, my individual defense. It’s just who I am.”
Europeans have not always been renowned for defense but things have changed. Victor Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert are among the best defenders in the world and Giannis Antetokounmpo can of course do anything he wants.
