Brotherhood Playoff Watch: Suns Out, Mavericks Lose
A perilous day for Dukies
In Sunday’s Brotherhood Playoff Action, the LA Clippers took down Dallas 116-111 and the Minnesota Timberwolves knocked the Phoenix Suns out, 122-116.
Kyrie Irving had a terrific game for Dallas, lighting up the Clippers for 40 points. But L.A. had a 31 point lead, one that Dallas nearly overcame, largely due to Irving.
Dallas actually took the lead 105-104 with 2:15 to play on an Irving layup but couldn’t maintain the lead.
Lively had eight points off the bench and grabbed six rebounds.
Mason Plumlee came off the bench for the Clippers to shoot 3-3 for six points. He also had four rebounds, three assists and two blocks - all in 14 minutes.
In the Phoenix-Minnesota series, Grayson Allen is still injured and didn’t play and Wendell Moore didn't get in the game for Minnesota.
On Monday, Boston plays Miami, New Orleans tries to keep from being swept by OKC and the LA Lakers try to get another win against the Denver Nuggets.
