At the end of the game today, Jack and Santos stepped up and rebounded the ball well. Their work was one of the keys to the victory.
Why can’t we do this as a matter of course? We are not physically inferior to most of the teams that out-rebounded us this season, I think those teams just want it more.
We are going to lose games we should otherwise win if we don’t address this issue promptly. Part of the answer might be to play Jack and Holmes together more. But above all, I think the entire team needs to prioritize rebounding more and be mentally prepared to out-position and out-work the other team.
This team has so much going for it, it would suck if we let this deficiency keep us from reaching our full potential.
