NJIT lands Class of 2024 wing Ari Fulton

NJIT on Sunday landed a pledge from three-star Class of 2024 wing Ari Fulton of Team Curry and Westover (GA) High School.
The 6-foot-7, 210-pound Fulton also had offers from Presbyterian, UW Milwaukee, Queens, Arkansas State and Hampton.
“I selected NJIT because the coaches, team school and facility can support me in achieving my goals,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “Most importantly, coaches believe I will help the team reach their goals.”
“Ari is a Swiss Army knife wing that can play inside or on the perimeter,” said his AAU coach Sim Frazier of Team Curry.
“He’s an ultra-ompetitive tough kid that competes defensively and on the glass. He does a really good job of sticking his nose into every play.
“He couples that with really smooth shooting stroke from 3. The Highlanders are getting a amazing kid on and off the floor!”
He joins point guard Walt Andrews in coach Grant Billmeier’s 2024 class.
“I am going to be a contributor who will definitively make an impact with their new style of play.,” Fulton said. “I plan to continue to play both ends with a level of intensity, shoot more open shots and bang with the best of them.”
