Live Thread: Magic @ Cavs
Good evening CtB!
As CtB’s own Elijah Kim mentioned on the last podcast episode, the Cavs embark on a lengthy home-centric, opponent-friendly schedule beginning with hosting the Magic tonight on the shores of Lake Erie. They are double digits favorites with the Magic missing a slew of rotation players including Jalen Suggs, Wendell Carter Jr., Gary Harris, and Chuma Okeke among others. The Cavs on the other hand are getting slowly healthier, with the possible returns of Lamar Stevens and NBA Champion Kevin Love. It will be another challenge for Coach J.B. Bickerstaff to integrate all the pieces and keep things in a good rhythm.
In spite of landing Paolo Banchero to pair with Franz Wagner and the acquisition of Bol Bol, the Magic seem to have taken a step back this season especially on the defensive end. This game is a case where the Cavs need find it within themselves to play sharp and not down to their competition. Hopefully a beautiful Cavalanche is in store tonight!
Tip off is scheduled for 7:30PM Eastern time and will be broadcasted live on Bally Sports Ohio, Go Cavs!
