[Women's Outdoor Track & Field] NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Sees Two Teams in ...

GULF SHORES, Ala. - (NAIA Release) - Four teams from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) placed four teams in the top 35 with four national champions and 37 All-American finishes at the 2022 NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships held at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium. Indiana Tech grabbed 94 points to finish as national runner-up behind British Columbia's winning total of 138 points.

Aquinas scored 22 points to finish ninth and  concludes the season with Top 10 finishes in cross country, indoor track and field, and now outdoor. Cornerstone tied for 16th place with 15 points and Madonna tied for 35th with seven points. 

In all, WHAC student-athletes garnered four national champions and 37 All-American finishes. Erica Zayarath of Indiana Tech won the high jump and teammate Lisa Voyles finished first in the 800 meters. The Warriors also took first in two relays - 4x100 and 4x400.
