PENSACOLA, Fla. - (NAIA Release) - Indiana Tech earned its second consecutive national runner-up title as the Warriors fell 11-5 to second-seeded Reinhardt (Ga.) in the championship game of the 2022 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational at Ashton Brosnaham Park.
Tech fell behind early as Reinhardt won the opening faceoff and Cameron Cochran connected with Titus Thind for a goal just under a minute into the first quarter. Cochran added an unassisted goal to extend Reinhardt's lead to 2-0 before the Warrors got on the board when Nate Langille found Joe Solin for a goal. Reinhardt added two more goals before the Warriors connected with the back of the cage in the closing seconds of the quarter to make it 4-2 in favor of Reinhardt.
