Live Thread: Cavs @ Wizards

Good evening CtB!

Tonight the Cavs are in the nation’s capital in a matchup against one of the most surprising Eastern Conference teams, the Washington Wizards led by Coach of the Year candidate Wes Unseld, Jr. The Cavs will be seeking revenge after the Wizards were able to steal a close one in Cleveland 97-94. Both of these teams are defensive stalwarts, both ranking in the top 10 in the NBA in defensive efficiency. The question will be which team can challenge the rim the best on the offensive end given the strength of both teams’ front courts defensively.

On the injury front, the Cavs will again be missing Cedi “the Jedi” Osman and “James” Dean Wade along with Collin Sexton of course. The Wizards are looking largely healthy, although apparently there’s some question to Deni Avdija’s availability.

Tip off is scheduled for 7:00PM ET and the game will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Ohio/Great Lakes, GO CAVS!
