[Women's Cross Country] Cornerstone wins Women's Cross Country Title
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (INDIVIDUAL RESULTS | TEAM RESULTS) - Anna Martin ran the fourth-fastest time in history to pace Cornerstone to the 2021 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Cross Country Championship at the Donald Ross Golf Course. Martin crossed the finish line first in a time of 17:50.1 for the 5K to put her on the top-times list and three more Cornerstone runners joined her in the top four finishers. CU also picked up the eighth place for a team score of 18 points. It's the third championship overall for the Golden Eagles and the first since 2013.
Last year's champion, Aquinas, finished second with 61 points behind Maggie Whitney's sixth-place run and Indiana Tech was paced by Lisa Voyles' fifth-place finish for third.
