[Cal Pac] Cal Pac Announces Players of the Week for May 3

The California Pacific Conference announced the May 3 Players of the Week for softball and baseball.  This week the conference has selected Park-Gilbert pitcher Kylee Saunders, Simpson's Cailey Rizzardo, and two baseball players from Benedictine-Mesa:  Evan Appenzeller and Michael Avilucea.  Because Park is not an active member of the NAIA (the Buccaneers will be full members in the fall, after their year of probation), the NAIA does not recognize Park student-athletes as national Players of the Week.  Also because of their current status, the Cal Pac is unable to post their pictures on the conference website, so we want to recognize them in a separate article.  All of this will be rectified in the fall when all 15 teams in the Cal Pac will have full NAIA membership.
