Duke Recruiting: Patrick Baldwin Update

Baldwin would add some real shooting and intangibles to Duke’s freshman class

Is Patrick Baldwin close to announcing? Possibly, although his recruitment has been played very close to the vest, so no one really knows for sure.

However, Kentucky.com is clear that Kentucky remains a long shot and that Duke may be looking good again.

The rumor - and we stress that word here because it’s impossible to know for sure - is that Paolo Banchero, AJ Griffin and Trevor Keels and possibly recent commitment Jaylen Blakes as well, are really pushing Baldwin to join them in Durham for a super class.

That would almost certainly push Duke’s class to #1 in the country and, not coincidentally, put last year’s rare disappointment well behind them.

Baldwin would add another tremendous shooter to Duke’s team. He and Keels would open the inside up for Banchero and sophomore Mark Williams and add another versatile piece to Duke’s roster. He would be a tremendous addition.
